This depends on the speed and the length of the electrodes.  A friend
of mine built a rotary and used two-inch long electrodes, then he ran the
rotary at 7000 rpm.  The electrodes bent outwards from the speed and
hit the fixed electrodes and broke off all the electrodes.  At 1800 rpm
I don't see any possibilty of the electrodes bending significantly.  Even
at 3600 rpm they would probably only bend significantly on either a
large diameter rotor, or with very long electrodes, or both.
