Another note regarding Electrostatic Voltmeters

Another IMPORTANT note regarding electrostatic voltmeters :

Regarding using them for AC measurements:

Almost all of the electrostatic meters I've worked with as well as own (I
own two 60kV
Sensitive Research Electrostatic Voltmeters - see link for picture) have a
negative terminal
which is common with the entire chassis of the unit.

This would be very bad for tesla AC measurements as you would basically be
floating the entire thing at
high voltage - not a very safe thing to do, unless you measured "half" the
voltage by tying the negative terminal
to your true primary ground which is earth ground as well.
