It sounds similar. I measured my 3. The dimensions, in inches, are as
follows.

1 of these: 6 x 3 x 4.25 (primary and secondary wound vertically)
2 of these: 5.25 x 4.25 x 2 (primary and secondary wound horizontally)

They have the 4 and 4A markings on the secondary as you describe.
