Howdy  Alfred  All    a better deal I think would be a $1.00  transformer
form brigar electronics inc. www.brigaralactronics-dot-com  part number #313C8
this says it has an output of 2500 v  at 5 ma.   ( fair radio model has an
output of only 1300 volt of unknown current)
 the brigar web site list them for  $ 1.50 but my new catalogue # 336
APRIL/MAY 2002 issue on page 14  says they are $ 1.00 each.
