	I was really thinking of "straight gaps", but the RSG application is
interesting and hope you'll share your results with us before too long. 
Not sure you can get a useful field from those magnetron magnets, but
worth a try.  They just don't begin to have the maximum flux density or
magnetizing force of the rare earth magnets.
