Re: Pig current?

I have a similar sized coil:
http://www.geocities-dot-com/yurtle_t/tesla/index.htm
I used to push mine to around 5 - 6 kVA from my 14,400
25 kVA pig. I used multiple MOT's for current
limiting.
I can feed my pig up to 540 volts, (didn't say I'd
want to, just that I can) but I never went above 240.
Much more and I got bad racing sparks. I've since
toned it down to a single 15/120, and will soon be
winding a larger coil for my pig.
