Original poster: "Mark Hales by way of Terry Fritz <twftesla-at-qwest-dot-net>" <markhals-at-dircon.co.uk> All. As non diode flybacks are becoming rare, can anyone tell me how to short the diode in newer flybacks? Will a high current reverse voltage do it or will that cause it to go open cct? Is it a hit and miss, "try it and see" type of thing or a "don't bother, you'll waste 'em." Cheers, Mark H....
