Chip, Terry,
Please fwd this to the Tesla List...
I have finally got around to updating to my website a bit this year. On the
site are some new things of interest, in particular photos and movies of the
Prague System - a bipolar Tesla Coil System with primary/secondary coils
only 3" tall and 9" in diameter which deliver powerful (and deafening) 16"
sparks. I think everyone that is running out of space should check out this
unit!
This unit is being installed in the public Jan 2003, the location being the
capital of the Czech Republic, a personal donation from myself to spark the
interest of Tesla in Eastern Europe, as well as to attract some attention to
the city of Prague.
Also of interest on the site are:
* Photos and movie of the flaming white arc Tesla Coil prototype
(A Tesla Coil that can metal metals, even disintegrate tungsten rod)
* Construction details for multi-layer pancake style secondary coils
* Information on building Pancake Secondary Coils
* Several reproductions and original Tesla X-Ray Machines
* Construction details for Kicking Coil Apparatus
* As always endless photos of Turn Of The Century Tesla Coils...
There are lots of big plans for 2003, including a visit to the real Tesla
Museum in Beograd and some public demonstrations of Tesla Coils.
In October I will be restoring a floor model 1907 Hogan Oudin Resonator, and
will have lots of great photos to follow. This will be loads of fun.
Cheers!
