Hello all...i have been hearing some people on the list
say they got their nst for free. feel lucky,i paid $25
for all i have 15000 30s &60s.i dont know about where
everyone else is but in raleigh n.c. new electrical
codes require the new ground fault type tranie be used.i
thought this would lead to a surplus of the old
type...not so.From what i here from my neon sign shops
some not so up&up electricians and sign shops are
replacing old tranies with the new type before they
needed to be.I guess from complaints or high demand for
the gfnst the mfg.want the old ones back to be
tested.this with the fact that with the new codes it is
illegal for them to sell the old type, new or used.so
the nsts have dried up around here. If you can get them
do it now and hold on to them....good luck and be safe
