Dan, 
 do what Ross O did... He stuck his fiancee inside Brian 
Basura's cage of death :).. On the side note, just sit 
down and discuss w/ her the dangers of the coil, where 
it comes from and show her some safety features you've 
built into the coil and into the test site. I know that 
I had to convince both my parents and my neighbors it 
was safe the way i was operating it. If you show them 
what you've setup for safety and you can convince her 
that "some chicken wires on wood" is a safety feature, 
then you'll be fine
