A ferrite rod I *THINK* is powedered Iron, mixed with something, correct me
if im wrong, a ceramic of some kind. It operates at high frequencies well,
and is used in radios to increase the inductance of the aerial coil. Ferrite
is used in TV Flyback transformers in what is called a Ferrite Core.

what does "MOT " mean, Also, what is a ferrite rod? ok, thanks
