With none of the fine suggestions seeming to work, maybe something entirely
different is causing you to have a much lower than normal breakdown between
turns in your secondary. What type of epoxy, etc. was used on your
secondary? If that was the source of your trouble, a new coil with the same
coating would likely result in the same type failure not to mention the
wasted time and aggravation. Just a thought to consider before constructing
