Marx Bank Charging Supply

Hello List,

I know that it is a bit off of the topic, but I am currently searching
for a suitable charging supply for my soon to be 800 kV Marx Generator. I am
using twenty 40 kV capacitors (2 in series by 10 in parallel). As far as high
voltage resistors are concerned, I am still in the dark. That is, high
voltage ceramic resistors are hard to come by. Anyhow, that is not my most
serious dilemma. My most serious delay concerns being able to feed my bank
between 60-80 kV DC. The only thing that I can get to work with my flyback
driver is modern flyback transformers, and they only get about 15 kV DC. A
Crockcroft-Walton voltage multiplier would work if I could make older
(non-rectified) flybacks work. However, none of my older 1950s' flybacks get
a very good output. So, what might I do? I would like the supply to run off
of a battery, but am open to any suggestions. Thanks, Richard
PS Kevin Ottalini (HHHHHEEEEELLLLLPPPPPP!)
