Thanks to all for their input on load balancing. For this winter, I am going to
use 3 15/60s, and a single 30 amp breaker with #10 wire out to the shop. Next
spring, I plan to get a separate SGS drop to the "Lab" with a 200-Amp panel and
a 240 x 20 Amp Variac. (Assuming my stock-based retirement fund gets back out
of the toilet by then. Otherwise I'll be wearing a red vest and handing out
happy-face stickers at Walmart instead of Coiling.)
