 Hi Ted,
I remember back at the Signal School we had to troubleshoot a huge teletype
MUX VF bay. The problem was introduced by the instructor. Turns out he drove
a nail thru the backside of a chassis mounted bathtub capacitor. The lesson
is
take nothing for granted. After making sure that none of the NSTs has fried
and the
MMC isn't smoked, I would get down to the basics of an ohmmeter check on each
piece of wire while I twisted the wire between my fingers. Have you metered
the AC primary
currents individually and put an AC Voltmeter and an Ohmmeter across each NST
primary Individually?
Sounds like you have a real dog. :-))
