Sounds like you where not grounded to well and yes the electricity took the
gap path insted of you (Lucky).
Its not the 20ma transformer I would have been worried about, its the
discharge from your Capacitor Bank, which could of stopped your heart or put
you into temporary paralyses ETC.
My recommendation is don't adjust stuff near the coil when its on.
I have taken a couple of hits and the only special power I have gotten from
it, is the ( I WON'T DO THAT AGAIN POWER) lol.
