Dielectric ideas

Original poster: "bdsabds sadgsdgsda by way of Terry Fritz <twftesla-at-qwest-dot-net>" <fdgahbdfhbfdb-at-juno-dot-com>

At the local hardware supply store I found flat, rectangular sheets of
aluminum at 21 cents each. I'm thinking of making some capacitors with
these and I had two ideas for a dielectric. First is using waxed paper,
and dipping the capacitor in oil. The second idea is just plain clear
plastic overhead sheets (like the ones used in schools) Which one do you
think will work better, or at all?
I would use bolts to hold the thing together (like flower pressers) and
act as the top terminals.
