I have built something simular using A4 plastic covers. It worked but
took forever to build cost a lot of money in oil, is big and messy. Is this
starting to follow a theme? mmc's are much easier and cheaper. But I guess
you already know that. Oh it was only 12nF when it was finished and weighed
a ton. Don't bother. Put your energy into the spark gap instead. Much more
worthwhile. My 2 cents.
