This is mentioned in the process.  Yes, make sure to dispose of the leftover
solution down the drain when finished.   The EPA will not bother with
individuals disposing of such a solution in this manner.  They monitor
laboratories and businesses for certain elements and have listed dicharge
limits for such, but they do not monitor discharges from people like us.
