That Should work. A little on the low side. The higher the voltage the bier
the spark. My 15/60 makes a great Jacobs ladder. A little overkill though.
I made it in 15 min. Just some thick wire hangers attached to 6 in pvc
(insulator).

This helps but how much power does one need? In my coil I have a
transformer that puts out 6500 volts, would that be sufficent? I was also
wondering if anyone could tell me what causes the arc to move up the
elements? I have always wondered this.
