Jon:
On my first 6" coil I used 6 or 7 coats of Polyurethane. Cheap. Slow. A week
or two to apply and cure. Not pretty but "ok". And safe to apply with brush
or foam.
On my new coil, after much checking and testing, I settled on Tapp Plastics
General Epoxy (2 part). It's about $15/quart which is gives you enough
material. Hard as a rock and super glossy.
Not easy to apply. You need a 12" window squeegee and you must have a motor
driven rotating winder and work moderately fast. But it is self leveling and
bubble free on setup.
Pays yer money and takes yer choice.

What is the simplest, cheapest best looking, most effective way to coat/seal
the secondary coil? Like the peak of that curve. :-)
