Rob,
The HV diodes and the HV cap can be used for a DC Tesla Coil power
supply among other things. Don't throw away HV parts, they always come
in handy in this kind of hobby.

MOT that would be
of use to a coiler? It just so happens that I ran across a few
freee ones
