Based on my calculations, this coil would tune properly when tapped at 13.3
turns. A larger primary is needed if you stay with the present cap size. I
had to make some assumptions about the primary design. I assumed 5.8" I.D.
#10 wire spaced at .35". This may not be exactly what you have but the
inductance doesn't change a whole lot by going to say .25" tubing or changing
the I.D. or spacing a little.
