Hi, Jason, skin effect refers to high frequencies 100's of times higher than
tesla coils, not about human skin but rf effects on a conductor. The damage
done by an rf streamer to the body is still poorly understood but we do know
it does penetrate the skin and has effects on nerves and tissues even when
we do not feel it. once more for the record my twin brother bernie used to
touch coils, even obits and the such for years and would say oh it burns a
little. well he took a hit off a hi-energy ford ignition coil, defibbed, and
was revived by Drs. only after one hour of work.if that had NOT happened
only a few minutes from the hospital and an ambulance crew passing by at the
moment of the call, he would be gone.......................
Just a hi-e coil in a car! my ignition coil on a dimmer has got more brass
than that! PLEASE be careful, just dont touch it! death is FINAL!
cul brian f.
