What I find works best, is to draw out the lines you want to cut at, then
use a straightedge for a line or some kind of stencil for whatever shape
your working with. Then use an exacto (sp?) knife, and keep cutting at it,
make an indentation in the Plexiglas. It depends on how thick the Plexiglas
is, but it doesn't need to be very deep. (I recommend testing it first) Then
get a 2x4 or a piece of wood, and put the glass on top of it. Just stomp on
the section (or jump) and it makes a really fine cut (just like the one from
the knife).
I haven't tried this with any really thick stuff so I do not know how well
it would work but it has worked alright for me.
