Been inside a few defibs inmy earlier incarnation as a tech in biomedical
engineering.
The 300joule caps were good to about 6kV and were designed for pulse
operation but certainly not at repitition rates useful for continuous
teslas. As I recall the beasties were around 10uF so resonating this with a
primary inductance would yield very low freq coil with difficult secondary.
The RF performance of the defib caps would be something to watch.
