<Hi guys,
I've heard a lot of refrences to mineral spirits, mineral oil, and high
voltage oil. What I'm really looking for is something to submerge my cap in.
I heard that some plain ol' motor oil works good, and also that regular
vegtable oil works as well. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Hi Dennis,
Mineral oil is available as a solvent for insecticides from many farm supply
outlets (local Feed & Weed , etc.) in gallon jugs and sometimes 5-gallon
ones. It is pricier ($9 to $10/gal. in 1-gal jugs) than the regular HV oil,
but it is a source if you can't find an HV oil source.
