Corrections / Clarifications from previous postings
1. Tesla indicates in his "download" to the attorney that he was
intending to use 4-PHASE polyphase HV power at Wardenclyffe,
and in the photos, 4 sets of transformers, filters, overhead lines,
etc. can
be clearly seen. His RSG/Converter was likewise 4 phase, and
through designed by Westinghouse for "only" 15HP, was capable of
processing 150kW. This matches extremely well to 200kW alternator
for entire facility power + power oscillator.
2. A theoretical discussion of operation of a 3 phase single way
power oscillator SG/rotary converter are shown. Basically
3 phase wye source feeding 3 electrodes 120 degs mechanically
separated. Load side of gaps pass through (3) tank caps, one per
phase to a common primary. If synchronously operated, 180PPS
no diodes, charging reactors, filters. If one had 3 phase power
available this would be a very interesting high power (20-100kW)
project.
I'm sorry of any confusion caused by previous posts... Had to find the book!
