Well I fired up my third coil and to my surprise it worked the first time
:0!!! with about 5 minutes of tuning I was able to get about 20 inch
sparks!!!! this is a big improvement from my last two coils which had no
breakout unless using a grounded rod, and then it was still only 6 or so
inches. My Toroid this time was also pretty bad.. I blew up a balloon and
wrapped some tin foil around it b/c I didn't feel like waiting for my gazing
ball to come! I will post pics and specks later but am busy now. Thanks for
all your help and advice!! I couldn't have done it without you.
