Jonathan,

The cheapest way is probably motor freight, but UPS will deliver it to your
door for about the same price. As far as packaging goes, you'll need to
protect the HV bushings as best you can, especially with the heavier 60 ma.
tranny. I have received numerous transformers from my sign supplier with
broken HV bushings due to improper packing.

Don't use Styrofoam peanuts because the tranny will squash them flat or just
sink to the bottom. Use a packing like bubble wrap, crumpled newspaper, foam
rubber, Styrofoam sheet, or a combination of these to achieve a packing stiff
enough not to be crushed by the weight of the tranny. Use a box large enough
to absorb the shock of being dropped, because it will be. The bushings will
snap like a dry twig if the packing is insufficient. Insure it anyway, just
in case.
