Triggered Gap method

Seems to me the idea of the triggered gap and ideas posted are really
excellent.

An approach I'm thinking of (Electronic design skills will need work to
fabricate)

1) Zero crossing detector on mains (ie train of short pulses every 10ms)
2) Feed to several zero to 10ms variable delay monostables (to place firing
times where required)
3) Sum monostable O/P's thru "or" gate
4) Drive gated 15625Hz TV LOPT to give short busrsts of EHT to operate gap.

If my design skill permit I'll post more
