I was thinking of building a triggered gap for my coil, but I don't have many
of the parts at my disposal. I don't have any MOV's, line filters or any big
power resistors. I have messed around with the dimmer-capacitor-ignition coil
circuit before and it is very simples and I already have all of the items.
How necessary are the parts that are shown? Would there be a simpler circuit
that would work for this? (I'm not exactly a whiz at electronics or soldering
for that matter) I'm not too concerned with RF noise going back into the
house wiring. I don't have any line filters or RF protection on my coil as is.
