Hi Jonathon,

Remember we all thought "it just had to sync"? <big grin>. The good news is
it is
syncing as it should. Regarding the meters, I'm not sure what kind of tach
you used
(or others used), but the tach I used showed a perfect 1800 rpm. This
however was a
high dollar tach I borrowed from work to check it way back when. Maybe
there are
some cheaper tachs on the market I'm not aware of. Also, should I get up the
gumption, I'll try to get ahold of a really good strobe. I've done quite a
bit of
work with professional strobes in a previous life - they work like champs
and are
designed for specific rotational speeds. This may help in the future.

Some digital tachs are equiped with memory functions used for averaging
rotational
speed for several measurements. I'm really curious why "any" meter would
show 1725
rpm when the rotational speed is 1800 rpm?

Glad to hear things are "syncing",
Bart
