Hi Matt,
My MOT puts out 1860VAC open load and 1.4 amps into a short. The input
current is about 21 amps when shorted and pops the line breaker after a
moment. MOTs are pretty dangerous in that they supply lethal voltage AND
substantial current!! The current "limiting" is small and they usually
need external ballasts
