    Hey all,
 
I was taking apart a microwave to get components for Gregs MOT doubler circuit
and came across this piece of equipment.  I was thinking it was a resistor and
hooked it up to my multimeter for a reading and plugged it into the wall. Well,
lets just say i was too busy unplugging the thing to stop the sparks to get my
reading.  I took a picture with my digital camera and am asking y'all to take a
guess at what it is.

The microwave was (hehe) a Tapman SpaceSaver.

p.s.  What does a HV resistor look like? I know what ordinary resistors look
like, but not microwave resistors.
