I didn't scrap the drive. I got these magnets from a guy on ebay who said
that they're from a hard drive. I beleive him because they are just like all
the hard drive magnets I got out of old drives, only bigger :-) I paid 9.00
for the pair. Just have a look on ebay, you'll find some big ones. They are
really fun too. Plasma experiments, wire bending, the slow falling magnet
trick etc. I'm going to experiment with magnetic quenching on my next medium
size coil (4" secondary). Should be done with that coil in a few days.

Found that out too. Nice motors for little robots and whatnot.
