Hello Everyone,

Thanks for the advice from everyone, i went to the junk yard today and picked
up the unit. While i was there i also picked up digital monitors for voltage
output to transformer. This way, i will flip the switch for the variac, the
unti increases one volt per sencond, and then i flip the switch when 120 volts
is reached, which will be close to the end due to 120 input. Also, i picked up
100 kv gauges from an exray machine for 3 dollars, but i am not sure how i will
use them, i only know that for 3 dollars i really couldnt go wrong. The xray
machine was complete, but due to its weight the dealer wanted $300 for it. The
back panel was off of it and sure enough the complete transformer was inside,
including all equipment that i would need to contol it (minus a GOOD variac). I
am very tempted to pick this unit up for the transformer. I was wondering what
anyone thougt. Also, if anyone wants heavy duty laser equipment, i belive that
there is an industrial laser in the! back. i saw it and the unit is about 8
feet long, 12 by 12 long casing. Looks like it would work. Possible VERY large
YAG or NEHE. No clue, but it probably is only $50-100. Well, please let me know
what you think about the complete xray machine. Thanks

Thanks

Will McManus
