Variacs

Hi All,

	I see that the latest Jameco (www.jameco-dot-com) catalog has a picture of
Tesla with a variac in front of his face on the cover ;-))  They have a
bunch of variacs on page 79 for some pretty good prices for new variacs.  I
have used a few of them and they are pretty good foreign made jobs.  Not up
to the quality of Staco, but good enough for our needs.  The 2000 watt
169658 does 18 amps (0-130 out with 110 in) for $119.95 (plus shipping 30
pounds...) and is all nicely cased with power switch meter and all...  I
remember someone was asking about variacs...
