	Try naptha or gasoline.  Should, at the very least, cause the rubber to
swell so you can peel it off.  Of course, if it's silicone rubber
(silastic, for example), you'll have a lot more trouble. You can also
work at it with a hot soldering iron, although that's smelly and messy.
