All,

Yes, kVA Effects has insurance. It is our most cherished possession
and is what makes our company run. It is a privilege and a gift to have
insurance from a special effects underwriter. It is also more expensive
than anyone can possibly imagine. Our insurance company only accepts
clients by referral and we were lucky to be "let into the club" because of
our contacts in the special effects industry. It is for those reasons, that
I
believe you will not get liability insurance - no matter what.

Therefore, Jim's suggestion is a good one. It is up to YOU to convince
the attraction owner that you are knowledgeable and that your gear is well
built and safe. Then, you will need to do the same for the Building & Safety
Inspector, Fire Marshall and City Permits Office.
