Hi Bob,
            that is probably a silicon oil.  It does have superior
performance to mineral oil, particularlly rf wise.  But as Diala-X or one of
the other normal transformer oils go for £25 per barrel and work fine in
almost every wet power transformer in existance I think I'll stick with
them.
