ASync motor converted :)

hey all ...

i finally got the Sears weirdo motor cut today and put it back
together... i placed the disc onto the shaft and put a piece of
eletrical tape on it to test the "4 shadow" flourescent tube test ...
it worked out great it was a bit difficult to tell at first but i
slowed the disc down a bit with a piece of wood on the edge... the
shadows became apparent and then resettled into position ... motor
stays cool and the power seems fine ... all i need to do now is
incorporate it into the coil system ...

also i ran the Bi-Linear "RQ" gap set on the Pig system last nite with
air cooling ... results were good the streamers seemed to have a bit
less thickness to them than with the single air blown gap system but the
activity of the streamers was still quite active ( im gonna blame the
thinner streamers on increased resistivity of the multiple gaps)

since i now have a sync gap to play with we will see what the
difference is ...

Scot D still looking for the better gap ;)
