Mike,
    Honestly I would suggest going to a public library or even better a
university and finding a book on the subject.  My formulas are most likely
flawed http://members.aol-dot-com/tesla00/hbt.htm  I have not checked over them
and I think my reaserch on the subject back then was sloppy.
