Hi Pete,

My OBIT is center tapped, and still will be when I am done (probably by the
end of next year) . The secondary is actually in two parts. There are two
distinct coils wound on each leg of the core. The inner lead of each is tied
to ground and the two outer leads are at 5KV and 180 degrees out of phase.
You are right, I haven't run across anything above 7.5KV that isn't center
tapped.

Why are you prejudiced against center tapped transformers?
