<Sorry, another what have I found question.
The valve is a QY4-250 made by Mullard. I have looked on a couple of web
databases and had no luck. Does anyone know the characteristics of this
valve? And the obvious question - Is it any good for a VTTC?

I found this in the history files of:<http://www.abdn.ac.uk/>

No. 60: Transmitting Valve QY4-250
Mullard's QY4-250 is pictured here for its elegance more than its
popularity. It is a VHF power tetrode, capable of operating at 250 watts: for
the aficionado, a splendid bottle.
