Hi Trent,
This was an original idea for MMCs but was abandoned. The internal heating in
MMCs is so deep inside the cap that oil will not make any difference. If they
are over-currented, the centers will burn up in oil or out.
Also, oil my damage the caps as is seeps in to the poly layers. And, of
course, MMCs were spurred on in the quest to get ride of the darn oil! I would
get a muffin fan if you need better cooling and the air arc distance spacing is
pretty well known.
