Since you're rolling a lot of your own stuff anyway, why not just make your
own HV
relays?  Use a solenoid and a lever arm to just whack two ball bearing contacts
(or tungsten bars, or whatever) together to complete your HV circuit...add
spring
loading or whatever other doodads you'd like, immerse the balls in oil and
you're
good to go.
