"The RCA tube manual is reprinted by Antique Electronic Supply and was
reasonable in cost (~$7.00 if I remember).  It has all the specs and
operating conditions for the tubes you mention and many more.  There is
a lot of information on tube mounting, use and design considerations, as
well as a few circuits that could be used to drive a TC.

The size, shape, and construction of tubes is a good indication of what
use they were designed for.

        Isn't that just the RECEIVING tube manual?  ARRL handbook of 1950's
vintage would be better bet, I think.  I have all ARRL handbooks and
also RCA transmitting tube handbook here.
