NEON TRANSFORMERS

MA AC METER
0-50 mA AC, measure neon transformer current directly, metal enclosure
with
binding posts on top, fuse, good cond $15.00
MODEL T SPARK COIL
Old Ford spark coil, good working cond, produces spark a little
over 1/4 inch as-is, may increase with new interrupter points,
case fair cond, clean $9.00
50W POWER RHEOSTATS, 500, 800, 2.5K, 3.5K ohms $7.00 ea.
SPECTRUM TUBES
Used, CENCO (made in USA), choice of 4 colors: helium, neon, mercury,
nitrogen. Colorful demo with Tesla coil or HV source. 16.00 ea., or

VARIACS
Good in Tesla coil use for transformer or gap vacuum fan.
#1 Very good cond, knob & dial plate (0-130), 115 in 130 out, fully
enclosed, marked 5A. Should handle 15kv/30ma transformer easily. Very
easy
to connect & use, has 2 binding posts for input & 2 for output. $30.00
#3 Good cond, Staco brand, with knob & dial plate, 120 in 132 out,
not enclosed, marked 1.75A. Should handle 9kv/30ma or 10kv/20ma
transformer. $10.00
#4 estimated 20A, like new (weighs same as a 22A I sold), $55.00
All can probably be used at higher current for short periods, such as
in Tesla coils.
PORCELAIN INSULATORS
Tapering cylinder shape, 4.5" long, 2.1" diameter at base. With
removable metal cover which fits over base for mounting. 4 for $11.00
HV CAPACITORS
MICA: 9 KVAC/.0001 uF or 8 KVAC/.00025 uF, Sangamo, brown moulded body,
threaded terminals on top, used, untested, appears good cond, 2 of
each available. $4.25 ea.
MICA: round ceramic body with metal end caps with mounting "ears",
used, untested, appear good cond, one of each available. Probably OK
for small Tesla coil use.
