I finally got some pictures taken of my coil in action.  Thanks to all who

The site isn't too good yet, and I hope to put more pictures of my new spark
gap, along with specifications etc.  My coil is powered by a 12kv 60ma
transformer, with about a 4" secondary wound with #28 magnet wire.  The gap
is a series (only two gaps, my construction was poor) with excellent
quenching by a nice blower.  Let me know how you think it looks.  The heavy
metal ball is only about 1 - 1 1/2" in diameter.  I can't tune the coil so
well, so I just experiment with different tops.
